Linea di Fuga ends its journey at the Museo Agro Pontino (MAP) and becomes a sculpture, a block with two windows opposite each other; a cold object that references the rationalist shapes and materials that make up the cities of the Agro Pontina Fondazione, Pontina first and foremost. It sits on wooden Eucalyptus tree branches, another characteristic feature of the surrounding landscape that was re-created by man.
From opposite sides of the block, two windows open on to two different views of the Pontino area. The sea and the plain. Two landscapes where you lose sight of the infinite Line of Escape. In the two videos, the horizon is edited and divided into a sereies of images taken around the Agro Pontino to offer a simultaneous and ever-changing view of the landscape in time and light.
The image of a virtual spectator appears in the window, a mere witness to the most spectacular and incredible event man has ever experienced: Nature.
